I am glad Victor pointed out that Sharon had previously burned down the ranch. Whenever Nick talks about Sharon he keeps saying it isn’t like Sharon to act the way she did so he just couldn’t believe she committed any of the crimes. He speaks as if she never committed a serious crime before. I would say arson is pretty serious. It was due to her bipolar condition. Also the family kept saying how off Sharon had been acting. She told Nick she was having hallucinations of Cameron. She would look at Cameron in front of everyone and no one… Read more »
You debunked your own statement about Sharon. Nick is correct, in her right state of mind. She would not behave in a criminal manner. Unlike Victor who is just evil itself. Sharon was bipolar.
Initially, Nick thought Sharon couldn’t have committed the crime. He had repeatedly said that it wasn’t like Sharon to have the tendency to commit such a crime. That isn’t true knowing that Sharon could have possibly committed the crime of killing Heather whenever on purpose or by accident. Nick knows that Sharon had problems with her meds and was working on having them adjusted. He also knows that if the medication isn’t proper than Sharon could have possibly committed the crimes as she has committed arson in the past due to her condition. It was a bit bothersome that Nick… Read more »
Some notes on the fashion this week. I loved Lily’s dress. The colour is unique and looked very pretty. I loved the style of the front of the dress with the low big v neck. I also thought her necklace looked very nice with the outfit. I remember not too long ago the characters didn’t wear jewelry or paint their fingernails. I also loved Victoria’s white coat. It was very pretty and classy. I loved Nate’s pink shirt. It had a little sparkle and was a sexy looking top as it was form fitting. I like Abby’s new hair style.… Read more »
Lily and Abby’s thigh high boots caught my eye as well. They were only noticeable when they were sitting. I like Lauren’s dress too, but again an exposed shoulder in Wisconsin, in the winter, is an odd fashion choice. All the new haircuts, coloring changes, and styling have been very flattering.
I wonder why Ian Ward and Aunt Jordan only have one bed at the motel room. They are clearly not a couple or intimate from what we have been shown. They are only in cahoots with one another to continue wreaking havoc on the characters of Genoa City. Also, what does Ian wear when he goes to bed and what does Aunt Jordan wear to bed? lol. Do they wear pyjamas? Does Ian go to bed in the raw? Does Joran wear a sexy nighty? It would be interesting to see what they do at night. Does Ian snore? Do… Read more »
I think Billy should quit concentrating on Sally; and go after a relationship with Phyllis again. They were a really hot couple back in the day when Billy took Phyllis away from Jack. Billy, please just admit that you only want the occasional “romp” with Sally to exact revenge against Adam! And even though Sally told Billy to go after Phyllis to be sure she was alright; Billy is starting to look more concerned for Phyllis every time they are together! They both understand each other’s problems with the Genoa City residents! Genoa City does not hesitate to toss either… Read more »

Yes, Devon…Audra did think she was hilarious as she firmly, but politely put you in your place in asking a question that is none of your business. Her flippant comeback about paint samples was clever and I thought it was funny. She also eased his mind by saying she didn’t even have a drawer. The goodbye kiss with her and Nate was awkward. They couldn’t seem to decide on a quick peck or something more passionate. At first, I thought this was on purpose to show Devon that they are more than casual but, it happened again when they said… Read more »
Audra is one of my favorite people on Y&R. She was hanging all over Nate and teasing Devon about living in the penthouse. She was so one dimensional while climbing corporate ladder. Now she’s worried about lack of viable employment opportunities but is bubbly and playful. I like this development because Audra probably hasn’t had a day off in years. I hope Nate can be her big love story.
That was startling and an answer to one of this week’s questions. There IS the Chancellor mansion and Abby & Devon are living in it! Extremely surprising at this time to think Y&R didn’t feel they could work around not using this set. Has CBS suddenly come into money? This town is looking especially nice for X-Mas in 2024 and wonderful extended scenes with Jack & Kyle. Kyle was great and this kind of emotional emoting is the essence of the Peter Bergman appeal. I know he loved playing them. Wipe away those tears, Jack Abbott. Your family is back… Read more »
That just struck me as wrong. All that opulence for Claire. I would hope that long line of rubies, diamonds and gold are not real. Do not corrupt Claire Grace. A long way from forcing the poison into Nikki through a hook up feeding tube earlier in the year but family IS family.
It seemed a little much, why all the fanfare? Just take her to Fenmore’s and let Lauren’s “people” help Claire develop a capsule wardrobe as any young professional does. I hope Claire isn’t just a mini Nikki for wardrobe. Claire could have sought guidance from Sally for something appropriate but edgy. Instead she is saddled with her mother and grandmother controlling her every decision.
Actually, I need to edit out the comments about seeking guidance from various people. Why do they assume Claire needs assistance? She dressed very well while Nikki’s duplicitous assistant.
Naomi, I was just going to say that before I read your retort to yourself. Claire was picture perfect for work in originally obtaining the job with Nikki and not a hayseed off the Aunt Jordan farm. Very nice but Claire can dress herself. Imagine having all those jewels picked out for you. Even Nikki had to obtain them one by one over many years & special occassions from Vic.
Over the years (and since their last bust up at the altar over a cheating scandal) fans have different opinions about Nick & Sharon getting back together again. Mostly positive, but then there is the ho-hum factior out there as well. ‘Been there, done that’… What I think is that for N&S to reunite there has to be the epic, sweeping storyline to bring them back together again and clearly this is it for the not ordinary couple. I think its pretty clear to everyone where this story is heading. No turning back now as Nick & Sharon seal the… Read more »
In olden days the audience would have gone on the honeymoon with Abby & Devon. This shows they, like about everyone else, are not a true romantic couple. People are mainly into their jobs today. Only Kyle & Claire share true romance w/ the sweeping saga of Sharon & Nick coming up from behind.
Ashley did seem a little off when the newlyweds returned. She was talking about spending time with the grandson and they made cookies … and whatever else she said. It was all just a little odd – since when is Ashley involved in Dom’s life as an actual caregiver? I know Dom was acting goofy because he’s a child actor but my fun thought was he was signaling the parents to get him away from Grandma A, she’s really teen Ashley. Help!!
So on the money. Ashley, with her love & devotion towards the little ones. And surely Ashley is one who can not resist the chocolate chip cookie. Pish-tosh! And it bugged me when Billy was lambasting Jack over Jack & Diane pulling that bust up con on the townies as it hurt his family, specifically Traci & Ashley. Traci is savvy. As a novelist she understands such dramatics and as for Ashley, I don’t think she was kept up nights worrying about her brothers problems.
I don’t know if we would actually see a courtroom scene for Sharon but couldn’t Michael pull Phyllis as a witness to question on the stand and then she be obligated to tell the truth and nothing but the truth by being under oath?
I am sure Phyllis would testify. In fact, the prosecution would call her as a witness to show she was lured to the cottage then driven off the road. Michael would get a cross examine. But what would Phyllis say? That the lights from the car were in her eyes, she couldn’t see the driver, and is not really sure if it was a car or a truck. She can testify about having flashbacks, but not being sure if they are true — the mind plays tricks on you. Pretty straight forward, the jury would love Phyllis. Everyone would have… Read more »
I reread my tedious opus, but a came up with a few extra points and an idea about where to look for the defence. Consider where Sharon placed the poison, not in a soft drink bottle or sprinkled on Daniel’s morning muesli cereal. Clear evidence that this was intended as revenge for the death of Cassie against whoever drank alcohol. An evil motive for a criminal mastermind! Weeks later, it’s unlikely that Sharon would still have pills left to put into the garbage. In which universe would the prescription not be used up and renewed? Would the evil partnership continue… Read more »
Forgot about the original PCP Sharon setting out to poison Daniel dead. Not nice. Liked the more rational Daniel pointing out yesterday how dispite the Cassie tragedy (Cassie got herself killed when Daniel refused to take the wheel) in follow up years dispite Sharon’s bitterness she was always kind & cordial to him. So why the rage now? It doesn’t make sense. This logic completely going over Phyllis’ head?
But is ‘Phyllis truth’ actually truthful truth, lol?

I loved it when Sharon zinged Phyllis by telling her to stop coming to her coffee shop if she doesn’t want to keep running into her. The writers scripted what we are all thinking and it was a satisfying moment.
